“We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was tucked away in a beautiful, peaceful setting in the woods and was the perfect place for a family getaway. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out and relax. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and pool table after a full day of exploring and hiking. The cabin was comfortable, spacious, and a great place to make memories together. We truly enjoyed our stay!”

“This was our first time to the Helen, GA area. The cabin was beautiful and was the perfect distance from downtown. We drove in twice a day, and the drive was only around 10 minutes or so. We loved the privacy of the cabin as well as all of the amenities! From the hot tub to the pool table to the indoor sauna, everything was perfect! Blue Creek's responsiveness was impeccable! Every question we had was answered within 20 minutes day or night! I would definitely recommend them as a host!”

“Check in was a breeze, they send you an email with all the information. Cabin overall is nice. As others have stated, it is a bit dated and in need of a little TLC. Beds were comfy. Showers have removable shower heads (big plus for me). Hot tub got to temp just fine, though controls were meh due to age. Lots of spider webs and spiders around the deck area. We had to wipe down the kitchen counters due to an unknown sticky substance on them including the table (possibly from a cleaning agent not fully removed?). Couches are showing age, but comfy as well. Parking area is very tight, so if you drive a truck like I do, it's easier to just back in from the road. The road from the main highway to the house is all gravel and obviously very hilly. Prior to the stay, the host was very communicative. During the stay, we did call and ask for specifics on where to place the trash can. We received neither a call back nor an email. And for clarification from the photos, the main floor bathroom IS the master bath with a door to it from the kitchen and from the master bedroom. The other 2 bathrooms are on their respective floors.”

“Our family recently stayed at this beautiful cabin in the Georgia mountains, and despite traveling under the heartbreaking circumstances of losing our grandmother, this home provided such a peaceful and comforting place for all of us to gather, rest, and reconnect with one another. From the moment we arrived, we could tell the property was thoughtfully cared for and exceptionally well maintained. Everything worked beautifully, the cabin was clean and welcoming, and it immediately gave us that cozy mountain feeling we were hoping for during such an emotional time. One of the things we appreciated most was the layout of the home. Having each bedroom on a different floor gave everyone a sense of privacy and personal space, which was incredibly valuable while traveling as a larger family group. Spent Christmas here and when we arrived there was Christmas music playing on the TV with decorations, stockings hung above the fireplace, a lit tree, garland, just truly a magical experience, and the outside view was breathtaking. “The staff at Blue Creek cabins are wonderful very accommodating easy to get a hold of and truly listens to the person staying at their property! The cabin was clean and beautifully decorated for the holidays! Normally they decorate the day after Thanksgiving, but we checked in a couple days prior and they still made it happen for me. The location is great. It’s close by so many different things you won’t be bored! I was so pleased with everything they did and I would highly recommend staying at one of their properties. Mountainside Falls was beautiful! I really hope to return again!”

“The management company is amazing! Easy trip in. Short trip into Helen, like 5 minutes. Good water pressure. Hot tub was awesome! Love the back deck lights! Able to log into our YouTube account with ease. Enjoyed the fireplace. Made breakfast in the kitchen. Enjoyed the coffee maker and the frig is cold and gives lots of ice! For the price, it’s definitely worth a visit.”

“The cabin is beautiful and the host is very proactive and responsive. We were there over Xmas and they had the house decorated and it’s close to Helen. Easy checkin and the host was even responsive given the Xmas weekend and helpful with what to do with our excessive Xmas trash from too many presents, food and a lovely getaway during the holiday. Seamless checkin and a very responsive host. Would recommend this to enjoy peace and quiet and fun in Helen.”

“Family of three couples stay. We wanted in the vicinity of Helen and Dahlonega and this was perfect. Grocery store nearby also, about 25 minutes or so. Perfect amount of space and seating for all of us.”

“This cabin is as described - we enjoyed the spaciousness of the cabin, it was a good set up for our group - two couples and a single. The location is lovely - in the woods and a short 5 mile drive to Helen and a few wineries in the area. Very quiet and peaceful.”

“A family of 6 stayed at this cabin for a weekend and it was a good fit, with enough space and beds to comfortably accommodate us. The location was a short drive to Helen, Cleveland and to many wineries in the area. We had pretty much everything we needed, though it would have been nice to have more towels, as the cabin kept things pretty damp. We also had an issue with the fridge, which is apparently a known problem according to the guest book on property. It was not keeping food at the low and appropriate temp and we woke up Saturday to spoiled items. I hadn't seen anything about this but I did read in the guest book that this issue was known as early as January. Additionally, the hot tub was not fully functioning. Otherwise, a nice place for two nights - you wouldn't be able to extend time without the fridge being fixed.”

“We spent a long weekend in this cute little cabin. It is well decorated and comfortable. The beds were not bad at all. It is near Helen. The property is great and fit the needs of our little family of 5. Just a short drive to Helen where we found plenty restaurants and shops. We even drove to Dahlonega (about 40+min) and enjoyed the antiques stores. There is a Dollar General couple minutes away and that is convenient for items you may have forgotten. Our kids really enjoyed the HotTub. The kitchen is small but the BBQ outside made up for it. The table can extend and fit 6, which was great. The cabin seemed mostly cleaned. Every time we called for a question, the gentleman with Blue Cabins was very nice and helpful. Check in and out were easy. The small cons we found were that the house is very loud, meaning you hear everything every one is doing. So if you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. You will hear the people above you move in their room or flush the toilet. Bring blankets, there isn't enough blankets available. The fridge ice maker does not work, so bring a bag of ice. The kitchen could use extra pots and dishes but you can manage with what is there. The bathroom tiles could use a good vinegar/calcium wash as the water seems very hard and leaves white stains on the tile. Bring extra toilet paper and paper towel, what was provided was not enough (not fresh rolls were in toilets, but left over rolls from previous renters).”

“We live in SW Florida and dont get to enjoy cooler temps often with gorgeous Fall colors...so we wanted to go to the mountains. I came across Helen, Ga and Oktoberfest time and then looked into a cabin to stay in. It took me weeks to decide and landed on this gem! This was ALL we needed for everyone. Hottub, sauna, pool table and gorgeous wooded area to have a cool morning on the porch with coffee. Either hang out and relax or go to small towns nearby. Helen especially. So close to everything. We loved it! Cabin is equipped with everything you would need; linens, dishes, pots/pans, towels,etc. Everything was very clean also. Note: if anyone has mobility issues, my 80 yr old mom was with us and she did just fine on the main couple steps into the cabin and her room was on the main floor. Worked well!”

“The cabin is located off a country road in a highly wooded, quiet, secluded location. If peace and serenity is what you seek you won't be disappointed here. There is a large wooden deck out back that gives you a nice relaxing spot to sit and observe nature and have that morning first cup of coffee. While it seems, you are miles from anywhere, you are just 10 minutes from the charming village of Helen. While the 3 bedrooms are not overly spacious, they are cozy and well appointed. After all you don't go to a cabin in the woods to spend it in your bedroom. Each bedroom has its own private bath. There is a hot tub and a sauna for your use, if you are into that. Overall, we had a very relaxing and quiet week. I would recommend staying here if you are looking to get away from the daily stresses and just wanting to relax in a beautiful, secluded location.”

“We used the Waze app for driving and it took us straight to the cabin. The only issue was we didn’t see the street sign until we went past it. Once we knew where the sign was we had no issues. We have a SUV and the gravel road was not a problem. I recommend taking the first trip slowly as there are several turns. Once I figured out the proper angle parking was not a problem. The pictures of the outside of the cabin don’t really show the trees that surround the cabin. The trees gave the cabin the private feel we really like. The deck that wraps around the cabin is very nice. The hot tub is covered and quite private. The first impression of the cabin is that of a clean and comfortable place. The living room is a perfect size. The kitchen area is right next to the living room. It was a short trip to get snacks. The picture of the dining room table shows 4 chairs but it had 6. We used the top floor bedroom and main floor bedroom. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and in good shape. I read one comment about how sounds travel in this cabin and I agree. It was not a problem but something we noticed. The sauna in the basement was a nice feature. There were only 2 things that needed improvement. The grill did not work at full capacity. It did not affect us but could be an issue if someone wanted to use the entire grill surface. With all the trees the deck was a little dirty. A powerwash would easily take care of this. Our family will definitely consider returning to Mountain Falls.”

“This cabin was awesome! It was our first time renting a cabin. The rental process was easy and no fuss. The view is amazing...just far enough away from the hustle and bustle. We used the hot tub every morning it was a great way to start the day!”

“It was great having a separate floor for each bed and bath so it was nice and roomy. The sauna was amazing and a great feature! We also absolutely loved the deck! It was a very hot weekend but because the deck was so shaded from the trees we were able to stay cool and enjoy it. We also loved the outdoor twinkle lights and the separate griddle outdoors for morning breakfasts. It was super close to Helen as well. Only a 15 min drive.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the cabin! It was close enough to enjoy all that Helen has to offer, yet be able to retreat to the peace and serenity that the cabin offered. We did have a couple of needs during our stay and I have to say that the management company was ON IT even attending to our needs on Mothers Day weekend.”

“We rented this house for my husband's birthday weekend with friends. It is a pet friendly place with a wonderful fenced in area where our mini aussiedoodle (and 2 year old) could run and play. The deck was absolutely wonderful. Our daughter road her little scooter around the wrap around porch and giggled the whole way. Of an evening, it was fantastic to sit on the deck or in the hot tub with the string lights lit. The house was as stated/pictured. It was clean upon arrival. The rooms were comfortable and we loved that we all had our own restrooms. We made breakfast one morning and dinner one night. They literally had anything and everything we could imagine, with the exception of a cookie sheet/baking pan. Otherwise, the house was perfect for our needs. We had 5 adults, one 2 year old, and a dog. We felt we had plenty of space. We visited Yonah Mountain Vineyards and spent the day in Helen, eating lunch at the Old Bavaria Inn & Restaurant.”

“We took our teens and some friends to celebrate my daughter's sweet 16. This place was absolutely perfect! We enjoyed the hot tub and the lighting on the deck at night. Soooo relaxing. The sauna was great to warm up after coming back in! Every room was decorated beautifully and the whole cabin just makes you feel relaxed. The kids really enjoyed the space down stairs, which was great for us lol. Communication with the host was always on point and very friendly. We were sad we had to leave but will be back soon! 10 out of 10 would recommend ❤️”

“We loved the property and the location. It was tucked away nicely and the rest of the neighborhood was to die for. My dogs loved going on walks and seeing the horses near by. The cabin itself was beautiful. The only negative thing I would say would be the cleanliness of the home. The kitchen cabinets were sticky and there was some hairs on the bed. The towels in the bathroom were very dusty and had hair on them as well. With the high ceilings there are a lot of spider webs up top. I understand that probably can't be vacuumed after every guest leaves, but I do think it should be taken care of at least once a month. It looks like the spider webs have been there awhile.”

“Nice cabin tucked away in the woods with other cabins nearby. The road leading to the cabin is a little rough. The cabin amenities are as described in the write up. Comfortable beds but the bed pillows need replacing. The main floor shower head is loose from the wall. Needs repair however I can't remember if I reported that.”

“The cabin was perfect for our needs we needed a getaway somewhere secluded somewhere quiet somewhere roomy that had everything we were looking for. Your cabin was perfect for exactly the relaxation we needed. We will definitely be staying with you again thank you so much!! COMPANY REVIEW:On day 2 we noticed the Internet had went out and we weren’t able to login to things like Hulu or Netflix on the TV. Which wasn’t an issue because we were heading out for a day of adventure in Helen Georgia. The morning of day three I sent a text and within 30 minutes had a Phone call from Alex to help resolve the issue he took my details and then called me back very promptly to have me check to ensure that everything was resolved and it was. I was not expecting that promptness of customer service to resolve this issue but what an outstanding job it was.”

“This place was exactly what we hoped it would be. The hot tub is under a covered porch so was perfect to sit in while watching the snow come down. The place is comfortable, clean, lots of space and dog-friendly. The furniture was really comfortable. The location was close enough to things we wanted (some hiking and a grocery store) but still offered a lot of privacy. The yard was big enough for our dog to do her business and also a bit of exploring. The thing that impressed me the most though was the customer service. Every time I spoke to the folks at Blue Creek Cabins they were incredibly helpful and nice. They were quick to call me back when I called on the weekend and were just super friendly in all our interactions. I would definitely book this cabin again.”

“I was a bit nervous going in the mountains in a cabin by myself but when I got there it was a calming peace. The cabin looked just like the pictures and the place was amazing. The place was clean and very presentable. Loved that there was no one around snd far away from the street to hear any traffic noise. I could not have asked for more. It would have been nice to have a book with places to go for restaurants, zip lining and horse back riding. What falls are really nice and should visit. My experience was wonderful and I would definitely return. This is an awesome place to visit. I would recommend it you’re planning on taking a trip. Just don’t be out too late lord knows it’s dark as hell and there is no stree lights lol”

“From the easy online booking process, to the quick responses from the owner/property company, to the quick check in/check our process, the entire trip was just what our group has come to expect over the past 7 years of travels. The hot tub was great, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook full meals for the group. The sauna was a nice added touch. And we enjoyed each couple having their own bedroom on individual levels, so it almost felt like we were there as individual couples as much as a total group. We experienced a snow event and had a temporary power outage. But the property management were responsive and put us at ease that we would be taken care of. And surely the power was back on in a relatively short amount of time. Overall, this was probably the most relaxing trip we’ve had in quite some time. We’d highly recommend the owner/company as well as the cabin itself.”

“It’s a nice cabin. A good piece off the main road. You do have to travel down a dirt road, so be aware that if rain is expected, you may have a hard time on the road if driving a car. It’s in a quite area. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking. Counter space is very limited. Hot tub is tricky to keep hot. We had issues with septic tank odor. Mainly outside, but we did have the odor inside on occasion. It was taken care of after a couple of days. This should have been addressed much sooner by the rental company. For the most part, we enjoyed our stay.”

“Nicely furnished cabin close to our destination of Helen, GA. Cabin is at the end of a quiet road, so it was quite peaceful. It had all the amenities that we needed during our stay.”

“We enjoyed our time here. There were only 5 in our party, which worked well for us. For any larger gatherings and cooking, the kitchen is on smaller side, limited dishes, and only a 4 chair table. The appliances were nice. The deck, hot tub and sauna were amazing. The wildlife, including deer were all around and very friendly.”

“I would definitely recommend this location. This cabin had tons of cozy places to relax in and ouside. Some pros to the property were (1) the master bedroom has lots of windows but doesn't get too much sunlight so even without many curtains it stayed darkish for sleeping (2) there's a creek on the back side of the cabin and (3) the kitchen was stocked with kitchenware. Some cons were (1) the property is down a gravel road but is accessible, just drive slowly (2) lots of pollen and bugs and (3) the master bathroom shower and tub were dirty.”
