“Beautiful cabin. We are keeping it in mind for future stays”

“The cabin is beautiful and well stocked/organized. Very private. Hard to go fishing, the property on deep incline no flat landing area to fish. Landscaping would beautify the area, clear up branch debris. Otherwise great place and location to Helen.”

“This cabin was perfect for us. The bed was comfortable and we got good night’s sleep every night. The kitchen was efficient and the deck with the hot tub was cozy. The hot tub was very comfortable. The view from the picture windows lead to a beautiful scene of the lake. All around a great place to stay.”

“We absolutely had a blast at this cabin period it was beautiful, peaceful, and I did not want to leave. my family five fit well, and we felt right at home. They had everything there that we forgot, we're very responsive, and left paper plates because the dishwasher broke the morning before we arrived. We didn't have a single issue and we can't wait to return”

“I was delighted to find the lake beautiful and framed by the trees. The cabin appears secluded, but is nestled in amongst the others, which becomes apparent as the leaves fall. Great walking, deer and squirrel watching. The cabin itself is clean and well designed, the furniture very nice, the sofa almost too soft. I slept better in the downstairs bed than in my own. Very clean. The hot tub is high end and really great. We have stayed in Cleveland/Sautee 3 times previously and this was by far the best. The supplied paper products were bargain brands and there was only one pool cue, so be prepared! To reiterate, our best stay in Cleveland.”

“Private cabin on the lake was great! When the sun hits the lake it beams into the cabin creating so much natural light. Hot tub was really nice for relaxing, especially after a hike. Cozy living room with a gas fireplace and everything was super clean. Can’t forget the deer we saw around the cabin. Great communication with host too. We hope to visit again.”

“We enjoyed out stay at Picardy Rose at Sunset Lake. The cabin is nice and well stocked. You are at the end of a road so there is privacy. Close to Cleveland and a short drive to Helen. We had plenty of room for our group and it was great to be able to bring our dog along. The game room in the basement is a bonus- we had a great time!”

“We had a great time at this cute, secluded cabin on the lake. Fishing, hot tub, fire pit and even a nearby trout pond the kids fished at and had a fish fry for dinner. It was so nice to be able to take the dogs with us too! Overall a wonderful stay and we hope to come back!”

“What a great property! Definitely would rent again. Hot tub, ping pong, pool table, and jetted bath. 3 stories ( casement unfinished but so nice and cool!!) we were there in July and the basement was such a retreat. Nice and cool, big couch, big fluffy chair and the game tables. And no worries the dogs were so good. Property was big and no carpet. PERFECT!!!”

“We enjoyed the privacy of not having other cabins on top of us. It was very quiet and peaceful. The gas fireplace was a nice touch and hubby and son enjoyed playing pool and ping pong.”

“There's a lot of trees and the deer are just beautiful. Sitting on the back porch and watching the deer is just amazing. The cabin has everything that you need for your stay. We had to call maintenance for an electrical problem, they came and fixed it within the hour of our call. The pool table and ping pong were a nice night time thing to do. Overall everything was perfect for what we needed.”

“Beautiful scenic views of the Lake nestled in the woods. Relaxing getaway... Enjoyed sitting at the fire pit, soaking in the hot tub, and getting massaged by the water jets in the jacuzzi bath tub. We ususlly go to the beach several times a year, which usually involves a long drive and feel more tired after vacations. When we get back from the beach sometimes it feels as though we need a vacation from our vacation. This was not the case from our time at the Picardy Rose Cabin at Sunset Lake from Blue Creek Cabins. We came back from an awesome relaxing vacation rejuvenated. Now that we know they have 31 different and unique cabins and properties at Blue Creek Cabins, my wife and I want to try them all. Just minites from Helen, Tubing, Resturants, and Waterfalls,they definitely don't dissapoint. Blue Creek Cabins was so much better than AirBnb or Vrbo. The price was so much more reasonable without as many hidden fees. There was only a small cleaning fee and small management fee which is understandable. We can't wait until our next adventure at Blue Creek Cabins.”

“The cabin was super clean and had everything you need for a perfect stay. At almost every window you would be able to view the lake. Very secluded and peaceful. Out of the crowds but not too far from Helen. We will definitely be staying here again.”

“Property was as advertised for the most part. The only issues we experienced was we could not turn up the volume on the TV, making watching TV useless after a full day of being out and about. Disappointing because we just wanted to relax. The hot tub jets seemed to not be functioning properly. Also, the ping pong table net was broken, so we could play that either (which was a bummer because my wife loves ping pong).”

“We spent the long weekend here and during the winter storm no less. The cabin is really cute and has everything one needs. The hot tub was great and the bed in the master was super comfy. Cabin is about 15 minutes from Helen and about 30 minutes from Dahlonega. There is a game room in the basement that still needs to be finished (and it looks like they are working on it) that contains a pool table and a ping pong table. The washer and dryer is down there too. It's not heated (although there was an electric fireplace you can use). It appears they are adding a bathroom down there too. The gas fireplace is nice and we were grateful since we lost power for about 3 hours during the snow storm. Definitely take a truck or some type of SUV - there is no way my sedan would have made it on that road (granted, it was snowing so that changed things). For those looking at this cabin, I would not call this cabin luxury by any means. Luxury, in my opinion, means top of the line everything and this cabin didn't have that. It's not a bad thing, I just believe in being completely frank. The cabin is cute, quaint and rustic - that is what should be in the listing. It's well loved for sure (again, not a bad thing) and you definitely don't pay the price of some of the higher end cabins, so that's another plus. I would come back to this cabin - the views were amazing and like I said, it had everything you really needed to enjoy your stay.”

“We absolutely loved staying at the Picardy Rose. The cabin was great for a family of 4. Loved the location, close to Helen and multiple areas to go hiking. Game room was great, would love to see the room be finished. The only disappointment about Blue Creek, was the “stocked trout pond”. We put in about 6 hours total over 3 different days, zero bites. Didn’t really see any signs of life at all. However, we fished behind the cabin and caught 12+ fish in probably half the time. Save your $50 and just fish in other water around. We look forward to returning!”

“We loved the cabin and the view. It was very peaceful. Only problem I had was a water issue in the kitchen. When we got up to cook breakfast no water in kitchen but every where else had water and the maintenance was out of town so it took to after 3 pm to have water(NOT GOOD) at all.”

“My dog and I stayed here during election wk while I was having a remodeling project done. It was such an ideal getaway from the city to get some peace and quiet. I loved the cedar walls draped with sunlight all day as well as the private deck with the hot tub. It was very spacious and clean. I felt very rested and rejuvenated after leaving.”

“This was a lovely cabin. We spent our Christmas vacation here. The cabin had some decorations, which was really nice. The location is perfect, close to everything we wanted to do. We were very impressed with how clean everything was. Another review mentioned a different sofa in the cabin versus what is pictured. This is true and also slightly different TV placement but that did not affect how much we loved this cabin and enjoyed our stay.”

“Arrived at cabin. Was very clean and inviting. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and spent lots of quality time with our family there. Firewood was available close by. “We were looking for a place to just get away and relax, and this cabin was great for that. Peaceful view of the lake, hot tub on the deck for soaking in the evenings, and pool table downstairs for casual fun. The cabin was clean and well maintained and it was convenient to get to Helen to enjoy the quaint Bavarian-themed town. We highly recommend a trip up to Brasstown Bald, too. The scenery is breathtaking and the drive up is thrilling. Overall a great trip.”

“We celebrated Christmas at this cabin. The owners were so nice, they had the house decorated with a tree and even a Christmas present to us. Very thoughtful! We told them we would be bringing our baby and they left a high-chair, a baby gate for the stairs and even had baby laundry detergent. Would rent from them again in a heartbeat. Great find, we even saw deer in the mornings grazing by the lil pond. Thank you for a Christmas to remember.”
