“Me and my sister stayed in condo 204 on the river and it was the perfect place to stay in Helen. We could watch the floaters go by and in the morning and evening watch and listen to the river! It’s so conveniently located in town that if it weren’t so hot we could have walked to many stores and restaurants but it’s the closest easiest drive to be right in the center of the square. We just absolutely loved it and the condo was very clean and a great place to come back to after days of activities and being tired wanting to relax!! We loved everything about it! I want to come back in the winter and I will absolutely choose to stay here again.”

“They provided all the information in a timely manner and it was very easy to find. The rooms were clean and pleasant and inviting. Everything was provided as stated and it was great that we were able to just go to our place without checking in. Everything was working. Had to be careful getting in and out the shower as there was no non-slip pads in the tub or bars to hold on to if you needed something like that. Would recommend!”

“Our stay was awesome. Great location to everything in Helen. We parked the car once we got there and never moved it. It was walking distance to the Mountain Coaster, Pubs, Tubing Companies and Main Street. While tubing the river, we got to get out by the unit and make a pit stop. We made our own breakfast in the unit and ate out on the balcony overlooking the River. Great for couples. The unit was clean and cozy. We would stay there again.”

“This is an excellent place for someone who wants to enjoy all downtown Helen has to offer, while also feeling in touch with the natural surroundings. For spending time in Helen, it was so great to have a parking spot at the condo and to be literally just a few minutes walk -- and an easy, pretty, peaceful walk -- away from all of the shops and restaurants. But on the back side of the building, the Chattahoochee is literally right off the balcony, so I kept the door open (there's a sliding screen) and could hear the roaring of the water over rapids. The view out the back is of river and trees, and it is peaceful and gorgeous. The deck itself has a swing, table and chairs, and is where I spent most of my time. Just lovely. The kitchen was beautiful and a pleasure to cook in.”

“Condo is a good choice for a couples getaway. Everything you need in the condo except the food (and personals)! Location puts you within walking distance of downtown area so no need to drive.Parking in front of the unit is convenient. Under the building is offered, but has low clearance. Balcony over the river is nice. Would definitely stay here again.”

“The property was near the city and easily accessible. It was clean and looked just like the picture. We were very pleased and comfortable in our stay. The weather didn't allow us to sit outside and enjoy the river but that didn't spoil our stay. We will be returning.”

“It took me awhile before I can find the place even after asking several people around( I have driven passed it too many times because some workers kinda block the view / landmark to reveal so ) , BUT when I finally walked in the condo , it’s feels so much serene as it is homey and the sound of the river out back was so calming and relaxing as if it’s serenading me to sleep 😴. The natures view by the porch is absolutely breathtaking and the fresh air is sooo rejuvenating! Ask me if I will come back ???? How can you NOT … you would love the wonderful time of total serenity and the joy 🥹 of being in complete haven 😍 See you all soon ❣️”

“The checking in process was very easy and straight forward. The condo sits right in the river and you can hear roaring water as soon as you open the sliding door to the patio that over looks the river. Everything is located pretty much with in a one minute drive or walking distance. Many many shops, mountain coaster, escape rooms, German Pubs right on the river, and don’t forget to head over to Anna Ruby Falls for a short hike to see a gorgeous water fall. Everything you need is at the cabin and everything in working order. It was cozy and will definitely be coming back to visit Helen. One of the best little trips I’ve taken.”

“The condo that we stayed in was perfect. It had a beautiful view of the water. There was also a fireplace, which was wonderful in the evenings! The only issue that I had was, you could only park out front. In the description it says there was parking under underneath, but that was not able to be done as there was lots of debris mud and Nails down there. It kind a looks like it was flooded or something I don’t know but other than that it was a great experience!”

“We booked for a little get away for me and my husbands honeymoon trip. I loved that it was right on the river, so we could listen to it flow and watch tubers. My husband LOVED the bed (surprisingly) the room was pitch black and we slept until 8:30-9( we are usual up at 5-6) We thought parking was going to be an issue but it wasn't. Was walking distance from down town and tubing. We walked everywhere.”

“Great place to stay when you’re in Helen! Staff was super friendly and very fast at responding even after hours. They went above and beyond to make the stay great. The location was perfect to walk the town of Helen and competitively priced. Was located right on the river and the view was beautiful and peaceful. Only things I noted which weren’t a big deal. The couch definitely is wore out and so is the bed. If they were to replace these this place would be perfect! Would definitely stay here again!!”

“The view from the deck is great. Get to watch the tubers coming down the Hooch very entertaining!! Within walking distance to town. If you’re a light sleeper like me this would not be the place. Since there is no smoking in the condo (good thing) the people congregate below in the courtyard and it is very noisy. Condo needs updating but overall a nice place to stay. We would probably book again but I’ll take earplugs!”

“My husband and I spent a long weekend to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. The location is ideal in it is secluded, peaceful while still being minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. The cabin it cozy from the well furbished living area to the wonderful hot tub overlooking the creek. Cannot wait to return as it was a much needed getaway for the two of us. Would highly recommend for couples needing alone time or a family wanting to have quiet family time. The Sweet Retreat is a hidden jewel!”

“There was a broken bear lamp that we saw when we got there. We were somewhat concerned we would be blamed for breaking it as it appeared to have not been super glued back together before. “You could not ask for a better stay in Helen. This room is RIGHT ON THE WATER, and upon entering, you immediately feel at home; due to the incredibly tasteful decorations. Everything about teh condo screams comfortability; from the ultra soft bed/bedding to the overstuffed couch (which is comfy enough to sleep on). You can tell that the owner(s) spent time in selecting each piece of furniture and decor that went into the space in order to make it just right. An added bonus is there are PLENTY of towels! I’ve never stayed anywhere that I haven’t had to call the front desk staff to ask for more. There is no better place to stay in Helen! This property is close to everything, so we were able to walk everywhere. We left a few times throughout the day and had no problem parking upon our return. There is a full kitchen provided (although I highly recommend you try some of the most delicious German food I’ve ever had). In addition, there’s a hair dryer in the bathroom. I CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK!!! COMPANY REVIEW:I had no need of the Blue Creek Cabins guest services team as on arrival, everything was set up so well. The property is exactly as described/pictured!! You will not get a better location for the price in Helen. Management also includes coffee essentials (which is great if you did not want to go to the grocery store day one). Property was cleaned nicely as well.”

“We loved having a great location near downtown Helen. A short walk (less than 5 minutes) to the downtown square was exactly what we wanted during our stay. The porch overlooking the water added a great environment to sit in the sun and enjoy the beautiful views.”

“This was a clean, well appointed and very comfortable condo having the sights and sounds of the river from its balcony .... my only four observations are: 1. Some of the mats and throw rugs did not have a rubber backing which made them slide if you step on them just wrong… I alleviated this by just moving them out of the way 2. The showerhead look like it came off of a World War II submarine … Come on guys, go down to Home Depot and buy $35 shower head with a spray/wand attachment 3 . The burners on the stove were not level, so cooking eggs in the morning was a challenge 4, The toaster did not have wide enough openings to handle bagels or any other wide food items Other than those four suggestions I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again”
