“Pros: Beautiful home, spacious and clean. Kitchen well stocked. Host was responsive. Perfect location allowing privacy yet close convenience to town Cons: I messaged the host to ask if I could come by early to drop off perishables in the fridge approx 3 hours before check in. Despite reassuring them I only wanted use of the fridge to drop off food and then I would leave they refused this request. As a STR owner myself, this is a very easy request to honor yet they would not. At 3:30 I messaged the host asking for the key code, explaining I still had a 10-15 min drive to the property. Again they refused to provide any entrance codes or instructions, insisting on a 4pm arrival only. Overall the process was really frustrating traveling with 2 young children and requesting the bare minimum with flexibility. It felt like a very automated experience rather than dealing with individual hosts. Additionally the internet went out several times during our stay.”

“Great place to stay private very quiet place close to downtown in a very nice gated neighborhood enought parking for one vehicle would be a tight fit for 2 vehicles but may be doable host was very responsive and nice. House was spotless and everything was great with our stay”

“The original address provided took us to the backside of the gated community which there isnt a guard at and you have to have a key code to access. We did figure out where we needed to go but it was frustrating to have to drive 15 min back towards where we had just passed. Overall we had a wonderful time. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The skeech game was our favorite.”

“We are so glad we booked this cabin! We saw bears and deer in our short weekend stay - and the amenities of this cabin are fantastic. We have stayed at a ton of air bnbs and this was the absolute cleanest we ever stayed in. We would come back to just to relax and enjoy the house itself. We all had a great time using the sauna and hot tub and the kids loved the games and arcade and skeech ball. The kitchen is top notch and every single possible item you could think of they have. We joked that it was better stocked than our own kitchen. Rooms are comfy and modern and the whole place is just welcoming and relaxing. Highly recommend.”

“The cabin is lovely, very nicely decorated and includes every modern convenience. Because it was summer and the weather was warm, we did not take advantage of the sauna, the hot tub, or the fire pit but we did enjoy the games and the peaceful setting. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need. The only downside for us (because we are not accustomed to mountain driving) was the drive to the cabin from the guard gate and the steep driveway.”

“This was exactly what we needed. I had to call twice to ask questions and they were quick to answer. We loved the hot tub and games. There was plenty for the kids to do to stay entertained during the evenings. The bedding was so comfortable, more so than most. We were also impressed with the cleanliness. The road to the house was longer than expected, with some steep areas. However the house was still fairly close to amenities and dinning. We would recommend to families looking for a relaxing get away. Thank you for letting us stay.”

“This home was VERY comfortable with details that made it feel like home. Although just 2 of us, house is suitable for more with king bedrooms on separate levels. Decks are private but still give views of the 10th fairway. Extra large TV in great room and very large TVs in each bedroom. You'll totally enjoy the hot tub & spa room with fabulous sauna! Management VERY responsive to needs/questions.”

“This beautifully decorated home has everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay. Wonderful accommodations and a beautiful view. The owners have thought of everything! In addition to coffees and teas being provided (in case you forget yours) there is a sauna, hot tub and massage chairs among other things. We only had to call maintenance one time for a minor problem and my call was returned within minutes and sent someone to address and fix problem within the hour. I would highly recommend this beautiful Bear Naked home to anyone looking for a conveniently located place near everything Helen, Georgia has to offer.”

“Very clean, and well kept. This property is very beautiful. Lots of little things that really take it to the next level, like it has two king size beds in the house one is firm and one is softer so you can decide which you would rather use, most rental properties buy the cheapest things they can that's not the case here. The sauna was very nice, the oversized bath tub was amazing, I think the only thing that we were disappointed in was the hot tub had just been turned on before we got there so it was cold and we weren't able to use it until the following night, we only had a two night stay with a 6hr drive so we were really looking forward to that all day. Overall we would definitely recommend this property.”

“We had a fantastic stay in the Bear Naked Cabin. It was the most thoughtfully supplied cabin we have ever stayed in, comfortable beds, plenty of games/puzzles for the kids, extra linens, quality towels and washcloths. The kitchen is so well equipped you could easily cook a thanksgiving meal there. We didn't get a chance to try the sauna and hot tub but both looked brand new. There is more than adequate parking for one car but it would be hard for multiple cars to park.”

“Above and beyond what we expected. This was a last minute get a way. This place did not disappoint. Just what we needed. Peace and quiet to regroup. The kitchen literally has everything you would need. I cooked every day. The decor was cozy and comfortable. The amenities are amazing!!! We went back in time with the retro arcade games. Learned how to play Skeech, so much fun! Played cards on the beautiful back deck overlooking the woods and green. Relaxed in the amazing hot tub. The sauna and massage chairs give you the feel of a spa experience and last but not least the fire place in the morning was a great way to start the morning as I drank my tea. Grilled out on the deck. No need to leave for entertainment, actually we were sad to leave. Loved the scriptures displayed throughout the house. It felt like home. All you need is your suitcase and food. Thanks for a great time of refreshing. We hope to return.”

“The house is beautiful, set up nicely for entertainment with games. The only thing dissapointing for our group was the location. Although only 3.3 miles from downtown Helen, it is a 15 minute drive with long windy, narrow roads into the back of a community. The listing made it seem it was a lot closer.”

Even had a bunch of board games and some puzzles in one of the closets. Kitchen was very well stocked and coffee maker was combo drip/pod. Gas grill on the main floor deck. Location was great inside a gated neighborhood. Located 2.6 miles from the welcome center which is about 10 min drive down the paved neighborhood roads. Overall, a fantastic stay and highly recommended!”

“Bear Naked is a gem in the quaint town of Helen. The cabin was extremely clean and comfortable. The outdoor space is amazing and it was relaxing to sit out in the hot tub in the evenings, listening to the night sounds. Check-in was easy and all instructions were very clear. We enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again.”

“My husband and I along with my sister and 86 yr old mother stayed for a long weekend to join other family and friends staying in Helen that weekend to celebrate a 40th bday party of a favorite cousin. The property was very nice but quite a steep driveway that was difficult for my mother who has some health issues. But not a problem for the rest of us and it was a really cute place. We enjoyed the sauna and massage chairs and the fireplace on the main level as it was chilly that weekend. The management company was very responsive and helpful when we could not get the fireplace started initially and sent over a maintenance person quickly to fix it. We tried to use Uber there and it does not exist in Helen so they gave us a local ride company to use which was very helpful. The house is situated quite a ways back in a hilly winding road neighborhood that took some getting used to for navigating in and out when going to town. Kitchen was well equipped and the patios had nice views of the wooded golf course. We loved the games too!! The only sad part of our trip is I lost my custom wedding band somewhere in the house and it was not recovered by the cleaning crew or management personnel who looked for it, but I appreciated their help trying to find it I did not realize it was missing until I left for the airport but believe it fell on the floor on the main level and rolled or was kicked under something. It may turn up in the house eventually and maybe get returned.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the cabin simply fabulous. How can you go wrong with the jacuzzi, sauna, massage chairs, games, fire place, fire pit and two decks?!? There is limited counter space in the bathrooms; however, that was not a big deal. Everything was neat and clean. The location is quiet and peaceful. We were in town for Oktoberfest, which was only about 10 minutes from town. We highly recommend Blue Creek Cabins and especially the Bear Naked Cabin. The location was private, although a little difficult to find because it was on a driveway not included on ways or maps, but the written directions shared how to get there. Only one room has darkening shades, which was perfect for us because it was just us. We played Skeech, arcades, enjoyed the sauna and jecuzzi, and the lovely fireplace. What a wonderful anniversary getaway!”

The cabin is not as close to downtown as it shows on Airbnb but it is about 10-15min. I would definitely look for more airbnbs from this company! There is no main (upstairs) room door to allow for more privacy. You can hear everything from the room if there are people in the living/dining room”

“Home is beautiful, drive down to home is steep and the parking for 2 large vehicles was a little tight but we really enjoyed our stay. I gave the cleanliness 4 stars because we found a dead bug in the laundry basket that was in the bedroom closet, we found beer bottle caps left behind in various locations and the hot tub was not as clean as we would have liked.”

“This cabin is only a year old and is located in a beautiful gated community with a golf course. The kitchen is spacious and extremely well equipped. The bathrooms are modern and gorgeous. I highly recommend the soaking tub in the master bedroom upstairs. There are games galore, a huge hot tub, a fire pit, a huge grill, and the kitchen is the best equipped I have ever seen in a rental. You will not be disappointed. Biggest problem is the parking. We had 3 vehicles and one had to park at the top of the hill. Kudos to the owner….you thought of everything!!”

Would have been comfortable staying here long term. Only complaint-and it is minor-parking tight would be difficult to get two larger SUVs in the driveway. About a ten minute drive to downtown area Would highly recommend this cabin.”

“We took a chance on this new listing before pictures were posted. Selfishly, now we wish we could keep Bear Naked our little secret, but this cabin needs to be enjoyed by everyone. It is tucked in the trees and offers great privacy yet has an expansive view. It is a beautiful mix of traditional cabin design and awesome modern features. The decor and attention to detail provides something for everyone. It is also so close to main street Helen. Upon entry to the main floor of the cabin, your eyes are instantly drawn to the expansive windows all the way up to the ceiling with spectacular views of the mountains, woods, golf course greenery and lake. The peaked ceilings with stained wood planking and rafters was our favorite structural design element closely followed by the stacked stone fireplace and hand-sewn wood mantle. The family room with the gas fireplace and comfortable sectional sofa was our favorite spot. Every morning, my husband and I watched two different types of woodpeckers in the trees right outside the family room. The kitchen is outfitted with modern appliances and and stocked with every possible piece of cookware, small appliances, utensils, place settings and flatware for 16, various glassware (the mason jars were our kids’ favorite), seasonings, spices, and even a handwritten recipe for chocolate chip cookies that the owners left in a drawer. Our kids loved the barstools and we loved the beautiful trestle table. The arcade gaming for two was awesome and enjoyed by everyone. We weren’t familiar with Skeech Ball but we all think we’re pros now. It was so much fun, easy-to-learn, and addicting! The first floor master was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The furnishings and linens were a great combination of cabin chic and modern luxury. The desk space was complete with high speed internet and a printer. It would be a convenient workspace if you had to work while on vacation. The closet was spacious and housed plenty of extra pillows and blankets. The second bedroom on the main floor was huge with plenty of room for two full beds with a bank of windows reaching to the ceiling. The same peaked ceiling with stained wood planking and rafters made this room extra special. The closet was spacious and contained extra pillows, blankets, inflatable bed, board games and puzzles. The top floor master suite was awesome. The king bed was super comfortable. The ceiling was also the peaked with stained wood planking and rafters. In addition to a wall of windows were small windows at the roof peaks. We had a good view of the full moon as well as snow falling. The en suite full bath was spectacular with the soaking tub, double vanity and large shower. There’s so much more to rave about but there’s a 3,000 character limit for this review and I’m at the limit now. Rent this cabin-you will not regret it and you’ll find it very hard to leave.”
