“We had a wonderful stay at the Blue Creek Mountain View Cabin! The whole family really enjoyed our time there, and the location was perfect for exploring Helen, GA. It was so convenient to be close to town while still having that peaceful mountain cabin feel. The cabin had plenty to keep everyone entertained, especially all the games. We had a lot of fun playing Ms. Pac-Man and honestly wished we had stayed long enough to try to beat the high score! 😂 Everything made for a relaxing and fun family getaway. We would definitely love to come back and stay again!”

“Back porch was our favorite, especially drinking our coffee in the morning. Dining room was one of our favs because we could fit everyone in there. Games and hot tub were also a hit with kids & adults. Cabin definitely could use some updating, very small bathroom upstairs and the sink in the main bathroom had some drainage problems. Kitchen has what you need, we used the grill and fire pit, both were fine.”

“My kids loved the space. They had a game table that my kids only have gotten to play at the dentist. The hot tub was a hit. So was the fire place. So was the pac man games! And it was stocked with books and more games and almost every room had a TV. I️ had to pull them away as they asked if we could buy the house.”

“Beautiful scenery, well appointed kitchen, wrap around deck was amazing! We used the hot tub on the screened in porch every night; it stayed the perfect temp even during cold weather. Reading room & game room downstairs were an unexpected surprise. Bedrooms were nicely laid out with plenty of room. No hanging rods in the downstairs bedroom closet. Dining room table and benches were sticky from cleaning residue. Overall a very nice place to stay.”

“It was cute little cabin tucked away. Everyday after hikes and the town we could go back to our corner of the world. We loved the cabin as much as we loved the town. It was packed with things to do. So much so my kids asked to go ‘home’ whenever they could because honestly it was so well prepared.”

“This house had everything we needed to stay well-fed and entertained. I was able to make several meals for my family and never had an issue with not having the tools I wanted to do so. There were plenty of games, TVs, and other amenities to keep the young adults from getting bored. This was a very comfortable place to stay, and we all had a great time. The view from the back porch is beautiful, especially at sunrise!”

“The location, living area and porch was wonderful for our group. The upstairs bathroom was disappointing. Upgrades are needed. The shower door would not stay closed and the space was too small. It could have used a better cleaning. The bedrooms, however, are spacious and very comfortable.”

“Great place to stay when visiting the area. Lots of beautiful hikes within short drive of the cabin. Also was nice to stop by the serenity vineyard at the end of the day. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and there was a propane barbecue on the deck for grilling. Eating on the deck was peaceful since the cabin is about half way up the mountain (easy straight road drive up the hill to get there). Place was comfortable (nice living area to hang out in) and beds were comfortable. The neighborhood is upscale (but not gated) so really a perfect place to stay if you are visiting Helen or just wanting to do some day hiking and have a great place to settle in at the end of the day for a home base. We stay at a lot of airbnb places and you could tell that this place is managed well because the place was in great shape. We would stay here again.”

“The property was great; we loved the location. It was an easy drive to Helen, where we enjoyed the downtown activities, including river tubing, and we drove out to Dahlonega and to Amicalola Falls. In the house, the hot tub was both easy to use and to close up for the day. There were plenty of beds for my family of four. The kids cozied up in the upstairs rooms and enjoyed the games in the basement. The cicadas were singing as soon as it went dark and they stopped by the time we woke up. We visited the vineyard down the road and we definitely recommend it to those who enjoy wine, as the wine was great and the woman who worked there was lovely and informative. Really, everything was great, which is why we rated it a 5 star! Our only "complaints" were that there were some wrappers behind a nightstand in one of the bedrooms and a dish or two that didn't seem quite clean. The rest of the cabin seemed very clean - bathrooms, bedrooms, floors. For us, the couple misses were not dealbreakers and were not enough to contact management or to give out a less than 5 star review. We would go back to Deer Haven or go to another Blue Creek Cabin in a heartbeat as the overall experience was great between the general cleanliness, the ease of check in and check out, the wonderful locations they choose, plus the amenities in the houses.”

“Our family of 5 stayed right before the holidays! The cabin was so nice and cozy and decorated for Christmas. The kids loved the game room and we all loved the hot tub. We had some beautiful views in the morning from our back porch. Everything was easy and super clean. We cooked quite a bit and had everything we needed. Thanks for making our stay amazing!”

“Beautiful location right near Serenity Cellars. Easy 10 minutes to Helen. Well appointed kitchen with a drip coffeemaker and K Cup coffee maker. Beautiful view of the colorful leaves from the back porch. We had a fire in the fire pit last night (nice and close to the front door—easy to go grab another drink). Comfy beds with plenty of pillows. Could use some extra blankets for chilly nights. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely come again.”

“I needed a place to relax and unwind, this property was just what I needed. It is tucked away on a tree lined street with a deck that wraps around so you get a Mountain View from all directions. The access to get inside was seamless. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay there”

“Lovely cabin for our short stay. Easy to get to from downtown Helen, not too far from gas stations and Walmart, and we liked that it was on a populated street and not in the middle of nowhere. Very clean and tidy when we arrived, amenities were all as advertised and we really enjoyed hanging out on the game porch. Plenty of room for 4 adults to share the space, we’d definitely consider coming back!”

“house was clean an fairly easy to locate. house had a heavy musty smell as well as pillows and linens. stairs are very steep. pictures show house as larger than it really is. otherwise, had a nice weekend.”

“Property seemed clean, little tighter than expected as everything is spread out over 3 levels with main and upstairs being only sleeping areas. The stairs to the upstairs are quite steep and small steps. Convenient location. Driveway is single lane so was difficult with 3 vehicles. Not much yard for dogs.”

“We enjoyed our stay at Deer Haven. The cabin was clean and well stocked. Check-in was a breeze as we were emailed the door code and could go straight to the cabin. The internet was in and out, but it also rained much of the weekend. It was a great weekend getaway.”

“This is a wonderful cabin, in a great location! We were able to get to all our activities in just a short drive. The cabin was clean, the furniture was comfortable, and our kids enjoyed all the cabin extras (ping pong table, games in the basement, the hot tub, etc). As another reviewer mentioned, the staircases are very steep, so something to keep in mind if you have small children or older guests. This is our second time using a Blue Creek cabin, and I'm sure it won't be the last!”

“This cabin was great for the rainy weekend we spent there. The ping pong table and hot tub were big hits with our group. The long dining table was perfect for our puzzle and games. The kitchen had everything we needed and we all appreciated tv’s in the bedrooms. The only thing that would make me think twice about staying here again are the steep stairs between floors. After booking the cabin the property manager informed me that the stairs between floors were steep and probably not accessible for my 89 year old mother who was with us, it wasn’t a problem because she stayed in the bedroom on the main floor. I was very glad to be informed before we had arrived. The stairs were very steep and the steps not long enough to accommodate my size 7 shoe. I’m accustomed to walking up and down stairs every day but these stairs made me nervous. I haven’t seen this issue mentioned in other reviews so maybe it’s just me, but I wouldn’t stay here again because of the stairs. Otherwise the place was perfect.”

“The cabin was absolutely perfect. The views were out of this world. When we first entered the property I was very concerned about the stairs since we have a one year old but they have literally thought of everything and we found a baby gate in the property. There is nothing that you need to go out and get as things are provided. It was a ten minute drive to Helen and the cabbage hospital which was on our list of things to do. We will be coming back again during the summer to do additional things that weren’t offered in winter months (water tubing,etc.) I highly recommend this cabin! COMPANY REVIEW:From day one the communication and efficiency to getting questions answered etc was amazing. It was a Very easy process from booking to departing.”

“So many fun things to do at this property! Great games for the kids, hot tub was awesome, beds are super comfy and adorable decor! Great location! Upstairs bathroom is tiny but functional. We messed up and used the island that we thought was a butcher block to cut fruit on (no cutting board available and already had cut marks on it). Anyway, I would recommend making a sign stating it’s just for food prep or supplying a cutting board. But we felt really terrible about it regardless. We truly enjoyed our stay! Thank you!”

“It’s a cute little cozy cabin in the woods, with a beautiful scenic view, you can watch the sunrise perfectly from the porch!! The hot tub is spacious, and easily fit all 4 of us. The only thing I wish was different would be that the porch is not enclosed on top so My friend and I couldn’t let our pups out on the porch without a leash... Also if you do have pets make sure the screened porch is sealed all the way around. I noticed the screen was opening up on the screen door, but this could be easily fixed by the hosts so I’m sure they’ll fix it ASAP! I was glad I checked before I just let our dogs come out there with us while we were relaxing in the hot tub. If you’re looking for a cute little cozy cabin in the woods to hang out with your friends/family this place is great!!!”

“This cabin was so perfect for my group of friends. It was incredibly clean! Most of the furnishings appeared to be brand new. The fire pit and hot tub were really wonderful for hanging out and relaxing. The beds were nice, linens were clean, plenty of extra throw blankets. This was my best air bnb experience yet!”
