“Great spot! Nice quiet neighborhood, walkable. Nice house, loved how many bathrooms it had. Downstairs was a hit with the kids.”

“The hosts were responsive and the big things that needed fixing they came quickly. We enjoyed our time, however, For The money spent for this cabin I was extremely disappointed. The house was poorly cleaned, kitchen, bathrooms. I had to go through and wipe all counters and clean all toilets. Food in silverware container so I had to clean all of the dishes. Also there were webs everywhere. The hot tub was dirty and had brown stuff in it. No matter how many times I tried to scoop it out it was still dirty. Had to send message about a hole in the wood on the deck which my son found before me (extremely dangerous). There was a nail sticking out of the floor that he also stepped on. Had to send a message about ac drip pan overflowing, as well as the downstairs tv in the game room never worked. I was shocked that for the money spent it also wasn’t stocked a little better. We did enjoy our stay.”

“Road approaching the home was a bit rough and had some gravel areas, not totally paved. Driveway was kind of steep and narrow, and parking was a little tight, but we made it work. Kitchen could use a little more/updated cooking items, and the downstairs a/c units may need servicing. They were very loud and not completely efficient for cooling. Exterior of home could use a cleaning, and removal of cobwebs. One of couches was a bit old and seating was very soft so getting out of the couch was difficult at times. Maybe move the powered reclining sofa from basement to the living area would be a little better. Overall, happy with our stay and value.”

“The cabin was very roomy for 7 people, it was very quiet and relaxing. The amenities were great. Getting to the cabin was very easy and it was close to helen and clarkesville so getting groceries and having somewhere to visit was very nice.”

“It is a beautiful property with the space we needed. There was an issue with the water in the cabin, but maintenance was quick to respond and repair. The only drawback is close proximity to neighbors. The property is not secluded and offers limited privacy.”

“Perfect for two families with kids and two parents/grandparents, a family vacation. Kids had their area to play games, pool and sleep. Adults had their area for games and catching up. Liked the fact that we had plenty of privacy, clean, sleeping spaces and bathrooms. It was perfect.”

“My family stayed in this cabin for 6 nights and we loved it. It is such a beautiful location and is a quintessential log cabin. We loved the king sized beds, the gorgeous fireplace and plenty of comfy seating for the 8 adults. We had lots of cooking space in the kitchen, they provided plenty of pots/pans/plates/etc for the 8 of us and the table had enough room for family dinners. We loved loved the hot tub and the pool table and had such fun relaxing and enjoying the cabin. The location was close to Helen, Atlanta, and local restaurants and stores. This was our first trip to this area and we are already discussing returning. The cabin is in a quiet neighborhood and it did rain a lot during our stay but the firepit looked fantastic. There were beautiful views from each room and so much room to relax on the wrap around porch. I would say that if you are sensitive to noise, bring a fan or noise machine as there is gorgeous wood everywhere and sounds can bounce around.”

“The house was super accommodating for our 9 guests. You can’t beat all king beds at that price! Location was quiet, and close to Helen. Cleveland was a cute town that had all we needed. Definitely recommend! Only cons were what others are already saying: need to update the pots and pans, and the beds are pretty worn out. But overall very satisfied!”

“Our family had a great time the cabin was amazing, the surrounding area was full of wildlife deer was everywhere, a great experience.”

“This cabin is huge! Four king size beds in 4 bedrooms, along with a futon and bunk beds in the basement. It was perfect for the gathering of me and my two children with their families. We even got to meet the maintenance man who was blowing leaves from the driveway and delivering wood for our fire pit. He was extremely nice and very helpful!”

“The cabin was just as described, beautiful and in a good location. The only reason that I didn’t give 5 stars is that the mattresses are uncomfortable. They are springy and some sink to the middle and some sag on the edges. The beds good definitely use an upgrade.”

“Very nice floor plan for accommodating 3 couples, 2 kids and a dog. Ample dinning table space inside and a picnic table outside on porch! Hot tub is covered, however, the deck was not, so during rain it can not be enjoyed. Easy to find, woodsy site, nice fire pit area which sits on a gravel pad not on dirt/mud and a cozy fireplace inside. Loved having a washer & dryer, grill and pool table! The drive to Helen isn’t long yet, just enough away for a peaceful trip from the crowd in Helen. Would definitely rent from this rental company again. Only negatives with this rental—several light bulbs out in main ceiling fixtures with no replacement bulbs, part of the kitchen counters were sticky and food crumbs upon arrival and no covered area above any of the dec area.”

“This home was perfect for what we needed! I stayed with some girls for a bachelorette party and we had a great time! There were a couple of things that I would suggest they fix for next time. A few door knobs were missing/broken. Also one of the shower handles were broken and we had a hard time turning off the shower. But don’t let that deter you’re from staying. They were very responsive when I shared this with them. I would definitely recommend staying here and I would stay again!”

“The cabin was well appointed and very accommodating for our large group. It was a pleasant stay and the management was very prompt in responding to our needs. Overall, we absolutely enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back. We had accidentally left one of our comforters in the cabin and the management team was very responsive and were able to send it back to us immediately.”

“We came in for a college graduation. The cabin was the perfect size for our big family to stay in. Everyone had their own personal space to retire to for the night. It a had a large open area for family time. We loved the open concept. The downstairs “play” area with the pool table was a nice addition to enjoy. The hot tub was a great place to unwind. We loved the big porch overlooking the trees and you could hear the water in little creek which made this part of the house a great place for morning coffee and cocktails in the evening. Great house! We would definitely stay here again.”

“This cabin was everything we could have hoped for. It was huge, clean, beautiful and it was easy to book and check out. We had a group of eleven and it never felt crowded. We are all excited to come back again sometime.”

“Our children and grandchildren chose a family vacation over Christmas presents, and it was the best decision. The three levels provided room for all family units to have their own personal space. Our son, wife, and four boys enjoyed the spacious basement; with the pool table and arcade game. Our daughter and her husband enjoyed the upper level to escape 4 rambunctious boys. The kitchen was fully stocked to prepare evening meals, and we thoroughly enjoyed the fireplace every night. The cabin is perfectly located if you choose to visit Helen, Dahlonega, or Buford. We will definitely be revisiting in the future.”

“Wonderful cabin for a large group. Everyone had their own space. The fireplace is gorgeous and inviting. We loved the Christmas decor, it made you feel at home. The cover hot tub was fantastic in the rain. I would definitely book again.”

“This Cabin was absolutely PERFECT for a 6 adults and 3 teens Thanksgiving getaway, everyone had their own space, we had ample room and supplies to make and serve a beautiful Thanksgiving feast. Everyone enjoyed making s'mores by the awesome outdoor fire pit, we all stayed cozy warm by the indoor fireplace, and thoroughly enjoyed the spacious hot tub. We all had so much fun competing / playing pool and video games in the lower level game room. We enjoyed our day in Helen, the mountain rollercoaster was a blast and the Christmas lights were beautiful. The boys went trout fishing and then the adults spent a 1/2 day visiting the local Vineyards, doing maybe a few to many wine tastings, then returning to our mountain retreat to grill steaks on the outdoor grill and enjoying our last night of s'mores and hot tub before sadly having to pack up for our trip back to reality. The Best part of this vacation was having our kids and grandkids under one roof, and what a beautiful one in was. We can't wait to return for round two with our family to this beautiful cabin.”

“Great location for a family to stay for a wedding in the area. Lots of room to get ready and comfortable common areas!”

“This cabin was exactly what our family of 8 needed. Four bedrooms with king size beds and one room with added bunk rooms and a game room. The community spaces had enough room for all of us to watch lots of SEC football and play games later in the evening. The kitchen was large enough for us to cook all or our meals. We had everything we needed in the kitchen as far as utensils, pots and pans, etc. I had read the reviews in advance and knew that certain items like paper towels, toilet paper, extra bath towels, cleaning products for the kitchen and bath needed to be brought from home because they are either "starter" amounts or not provided. Knowing that ahead of time made it easy enough to accommodate. As the cabin owner, I would add that to the description so there is no mix up for renters. We were close to a Walmart for anything we needed and we were close to the little town of Cleveland where we did some shopping, etc. The cabin in also close to Dahlonega and Helen. We'll be back!”

“This home was everything promised and more. The directions were spelled out, this is a nicely remote location. The home was clean and stocked as anticipated. Plenty of outside sitting areas too!”

“We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cabin to others traveling with a large family or group. The cabin is nicely decorated and the layout provides many spaces to hang out together or separate. The deck is amazing and has ample seating on all sides. The host was very responsive and answered messages within minutes.”

“This cabin was a great. It is beautiful inside with lots of open views of the woods and surroundings. The hot tub was great after a cold day out. We had a couple issues come up and hosts were very quick to resolve. The kids loved the downstairs game and pool table. TVs in all the rooms was fantastic for a large group. We very much enjoyed our stay here and would return. The only negative we experienced- cabin is loud when trying to sleep (stairs and floors) if others are up and walking around. Otherwise, fantastic place to stay! :)”

“Oak Hill cabin did not disappoint! The cabin was large enough to host 3 generations, family of 12. We had all we needed in the kitchen to make family meals. Beef stew, chili and chicken n dumplings. Beds were very comfortable, rooms great size. Enjoyed Helen, Cleveland and Dahlonega. We shopped, hiked and much more. Look forward to returning again soon. Excellent cabin!!”

“We enjoyed our stay very much! Plenty of room for 10 guests. The drive through the neighborhood was a little rough as there are lots of potholes but other than that everything was excellent! We plan to stay again next year.”

“The check in process was easy. This is a nice cabin. The bathrooms were very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. My only complaint was that the dishwasher was broken and the housekeeping crew needs to be more thorough cleaning the kitchen/livingroom floors. Oh....and what was up with the fans on the basement switching on and off randomly as well as the unexplained knocking noises. Loved the cabin and enjoyed our stay.”

“My family all met up in North Georgia for a reunion last week. We love to get together at different locations and live under the same roof for a few days every year. This lodge/cabin was a perfect location for us. There are so many king size beds, we had more sleeping options than we have ever found for this price! There is a lot to do in the area. We went into Helen for shopping and restaurants, canoed, and hiked waterfall trails. I would highly recommend this location and this property. It did not have a great mountain view but we felt like we were in a treehouse surrounded by a beautiful natural setting. The cabin is well equipped and clean.”

“We had a great time in this beautiful mountain home. We got a lot of snow & ice which was great for the kids but not so great when we lost power. We knew with the amount of ice, it was a possibility. We lost it a couple of times with the last one starting at 10pm the night before we were leaving & never came back on. So we got up without power, water, or flushing toilets. This certainly isn’t the fault of the owner but was a bit unpleasant. We also had a problem with water pressure while there. Only one person at a time could take a shower. Otherwise one person showering would only have a trickle of water. The house is really pretty and comfortable other than that annoyance . The rental company was helpful and easy to deal with. We would definitely return.”
