“We had a great weekend! Blue Creek was very responsive to questions prior to arrival, communicated with detailed information before and after checking in, and made our stay easy! The house was clean and well stocked. The only thing to consider is that the house is listed as walkable, and while you can technically walk to things, it wasn't walkable for our 60-something group. That absolutely didn't slow us down and is no reflection on the accommodations, just be aware of the actual location vs. where you want to spend your time in town. Loved our stay and plan on returning!!”

“The property is exactly as pictured and reviewed by others! Beautiful area: view of water and outdoors. Hot tub, pool table, washing machine/dryer, and bedroom in basement are excellent. Very clean. Main level has living room with tv, super comfy couch, and 3 rocker recliners. Big dining table and kitchen with plenty of utensils and cups and cooking pots/pans. Nice fridge with ice maker in door. Half bath was nice size and convenient! The upstairs has two bedrooms. The one that has a balcony also has a jet bathtub that feels great! All rooms and areas inside and out were very clean and nice and smelled clean! Comfy, firm beds with plenty of bedding. Air conditioning worked well. The property is located close to all activities offered in Helen, GA. But it's not like right in the middle of it. So you can enjoy some privacy from all that. Except there is a water park right close. It was closed when we stayed though. Plus not many people at all were there anywhere in Helen when we visited, beginning of September. Super quiet and plenty of parking. Great stay and great property!!! From the stay reviews of this property, I thought it was going to be too good to be true, but no, it is absolutely 100% true and awesome!”

“Couldn't get much better, less then a mile from down town, very clean, comfortable furnishings, jacuzzi was awsome, each , king bed,bedroom , 3, had its own full, roomy, bathroom, main floor has a half bath, great stocked kitchen with large dinning room.Also river view from decks. “The condo was very nice and homey. The furniture in living room was very comfortable. Loved the recliners. We had a family fun night of pool which caused much laughter. It was nice being so close to town. An added bonus was that you couldn’t hear your neighbors unless they were outside.”

“I would suggest coffee filters be provided or suggest guests bring along with extra coffee.. had to use paper towels. Definitely bring extra hand soap for bathroom sinks.. Shampoo etc as well.. The fireplace wasn’t working which was a disappointment .. also, our particular unit only provided one parking space in front .. had to use visitor parking for our extra car.. no biggie but inconvenient when loading vehicle on the morning we left ( especially since it was rainy) We did enjoy our stay.. roomy enough and loved the pool table.”

“We had a wonderful stay! Booking was easy and the check-in/out process was probably the smoothest we’ve ever had. Communication with the host was excellent, and we were even allowed an early check-in at 2 PM. The townhome was extremely clean with modern decor, and all three bedrooms felt like master suites. The layout spans three floors, each with a balcony—the bottom floor leads to a hot tub and river access, which was a great touch. The only downside was the lack of balcony privacy. The unit is between two others, and we happened to be next to a large, loud family who played music out on the balcony. It was a bit disruptive, especially since our booking mentioned a 6-person max and they had 12+ people. Luckily, most of their group arrived on our last day. Overall, a beautiful home in a great location—we’d definitely stay again!”

“Nice condo with three king size beds in three private bedroom suites. Each floor had its own, very well equipped balcony. Beautiful surroundings with creek flowing right beside the condo. A few minor things that caused me not to give a 5 star rating but all in all I was pleased with the Way Down Yonder Condo.”

“This was a great place for 2 families to stay together! The main/middle level was spacious and cozy to all hang out together. Then when privacy or quiet was wanted, it was nice that 1 family had the upstairs and 1 family had the downstairs. (Just be mindful when planning, that the pool table is also downstairs, and you have to go through the downstairs bedroom to access the hot tub!)… It would be a great space for 3 couples as well! We loved having a balcony on every level and river views! The home was nice and clean, had comfortable beds, soft towels that smelled delightful, smart TV’s, board games, and helpful sheets about the home with area attractions/recommendations. Would stay again and recommend to anyone! Thank you!”

“We all really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The views were wonderful and very close to Helen downtown, Dahlonega, and Hiawassee, Sautee Nachoochie. We had so much fun. The kitchen had all the appliances we needed, and the balconies were perfect for drinking coffee and enjoying the peacefulness of the creek.”

“We stayed at A way down Yonder cabin this year for the AVF show, Cabin was as advertised, the rooms are spacious and the kitchen and living room is spacious, you can walk to the center of the town and is within walking distance of the water park and the river tubing.”

“Cabin was not as clean as I thought it should be, especially the floors, and outdoor space. Fire Pit off master did not work, but otherwise it was spacious and great for our stay”

“Condo is well located, an easy walk into town. Nice layout with two decks over looking the river. We’ve stayed three times but this time it seemed a little rough looking. Sofa was ripped, very few towels and the beds , especially the master was very lumpy and soft. Maybe it’s time to upgrade them. Having said that, we had a good time. But, will check on the bed situation before booking next year.”

“We, four lifelong friends, came to Helen for a girls trip! Enjoyed our stay very much!! The condo met our needs perfectly. Each bedroom has a private bathroom!! The balconies overlooking the river is super nice. We had one issue with the commodes. Blue Creek was really responsive. The nicest man came to fix our toilet promptly and gave us lots of recommendations for the area!! Thank you!! We will be back!!”

“We had a great time at this townhouse! Very clean, tons of space, comfortable beds. You can’t beat the close proximity to Helen. Loved that you didn’t have to drive up super steep hills just to get to it. We had a minor maintenance issue while we were there and the office was very responsive and sent someone out to fix it ASAP. The views of the river were amazing and so was the hot tub. We would absolutely come back!”

“Great time. 6 adults - had our own rooms and bathrooms with another half bath on the main floor. A teeny disappointed that not all bedrooms had a balcony overlooking the river but there were 3 and we ended up on the one on the main floor most of the time. The large dining table was great for cards and projects and dining!!”

“The house and location were wonderful! Had everything we needed for our stay. Kitchen was well stocked for any cooking we might've done. Having breakfast on the patio was my favorite in the mornings, just talking with my sisters and listening to the water. Thank you so much for the stay! We will be visiting again in the future!”

“This was the perfect little get away for our family over spring break. The 3 bedrooms were super spacious and the townhome was super clean (a must for us!). The kitchen was very well stocked and had everything you would need in it to eat in. The back decks are so cozy with the firepit and the hot tub, and we loved listening to the river flowing while enjoying our coffee or evening drinks. The entire complex was super quiet while we were there. The town is so cute as well - highly recommend the Outpost for mining and the Nacoochee Adventures for Zip Lining and the Challenge Course. Anna Ruby Falls is a must visit for sure.”

“This place is great! It is a very clean unit. Plenty of room for our family of five. The beds and couches were very comfortable. We would definitely pick this place again.”

“This cabin was perfect for our stay during Oktoberfest. Each bedroom has a king bed with it's own bathroom, which was so nice for the 3 couples staying there. The cabin was also very close to downtown Helen, about a 1 mile walk to the Festhalle, which took us about 20 minutes. The cabin was also a nice retreat from the bustle of the crowd, backing up to the river and the hot tub waiting. Loved our stay!”

“Great time in Helen and this place is located in the best spot. Close enough but not in the heart of it all. So when we were ready for bed, it was so quiet. The home was so comfy, spacious and the beds were great. Would highly recommend and I would return again.”

“All though the rain came down for the 3 nights and days, the vacation was enjoyable by all. The condo is located in a quiet and tranquil part of Helen away from the hustle and bustle of main street. The condo is very nicely appointed and has quality linens and furniture. The kitchen has a larger dining space for up to 10 people so many meals can be had in the condo. However, many great meals can be had in town. The condo offers a parking space with several visitor spots with 50 feet of the appointed spot. This condo comes with 3 covered decks that overlook the river and allow for a space to relax. A pool table and hot tub are two additions that can enhance your stay. The entertainment of the condo with the TV was ample and allowed the use of smart tv options for your viewing pleasure. The internet was plenty fast and allowed multiple phones, ipads and laptops to utilize it without any negative aspects. I would rent this place again if available.”

“A Way Down Yonder in Helen, GA is perfect for families with kids and for couples. It is NOT for the elderly-----nor is most of Helen. My daughter and I saw the balloon lift off (the main reason for the trip) and it was PERFECT! We also played an 18 hole round of mini golf (also not for seniors.) Helen is too small for the crowds and I would never try to do Octoberfest there. The townhouse is lovely, the colors and the decor. The pool table got used as well a the hot tub, both great. There is PLENTY of hot water with enough pressure. Since I was not able to see the full picture online, I booked a place with 20 steps down or up to get to a bedroom, big mistake on my part. The management company was awesome and the sound of the river was a highlight of the trip for us. VERY clean and well supplied. Thanks, Blue Creek Cabins.”

“Book here! Plenty of room for the whole family. Hot tub is nice and held 4 adults and a 10yo no problem with elbow room. A Waterpark and tubing right in the backyard...literally! Lots of shopping and different food choices, you will not be lacking in beverage choices either 😉 Most everything is less than 2miles from the door. We would definitely like to stay again!”

“Do not think twice if this unit is available, it is amazing. My family and I really enjoyed the pool table, hot tub and the rest of the amenities. Location is perfect, literally minutes away from downtown Helen. Our Upstairs AC stopped working, I contacted them, and left a voicemail and they got back to me within minutes and sent someone over to repair it at 7pm on a Saturday. There was only 1 thing that we were not too happy about, the place was not fully cleaned. Overall we are extremely happy and would book the place again, no hesitation.”
