“Our stay was perfect. We will be back!”

“We had a great stay. It was very clean, well maintained, and comfortable, and it had everything we needed during our stay. The location was great too, close enough to Helen and everything we wanted to do while still feeling tucked away in the mountains. It was also incredibly quiet and peaceful, which we really enjoyed. We saw deer around the cabin almost every evening, which was a nice bonus. I kept hoping a bear might make an appearance too, but apparently they didn't get the memo. 😄 One thing worth mentioning for future guests: the roads leading up to the cabin are paved, but they are fairly steep in places. We had no trouble at all since we're comfortable driving mountain roads, but someone who isn't used to mountain driving might be a little hesitant at first. It's definitely not a negative, just something to be aware of before you arrive. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again!”

“Sunrise Summit was a peaceful and fun retreat to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The cabin is in the back of the neighborhood and all the streets are clearly marked so travel was easy. we always worry about gravel roads in the mountains, but all roads were paved. Everything you needed was provided in the cabin and the layout is perfect for family fun.”

“This cabin was so comfortable and cozy. We loved sitting on the porch and listening to the sounds of only nature. No road noise, planes or any civilization noise! It was so very peaceful. We loved the gas grill on the back porch too which came in very handy. We used the hot tub too several times which was very clean and was a good way for us to relax. The fire pit in the side back yard was a nice feature too. Enjoyed that on one of our nights there. Driveway and parking was very easy which was great because we have stayed in other cabins that had very steep driveways and were difficult to access. Sunrise Summit was so easy and we loved that it was on a culdesac. We saw deer EVERY day on our way up to the cabin and on the last day has 6 of them on our street and they ended up in the back yard that night. Beautiful! We loved that we were very close to Helen, Cleveland, Anna Ruby Falls and several scenic routes. The German food in Helen was great and it was fun just to walk around town and shop. Overall was a great cabin and a wonderful stay for our first visit to Helen, GA.”

“Everything was wonderful. The view was great and we were able to cook on the outdoor fire pit, but the only bad thing I can say about the cabin is when I go to bed I like to watch a little tv and there was no tv’s in any bedroom.”

“The cabin was SO clean!! Very peaceful with no neighbors! The hot tub was pristine… I’m weird about hot tubs and I got in every day we were there! We had a challenge with the outdoor fireplace and they immediately had someone come out and fix it! We will be back next year and every year after!! “We really enjoyed our stay in Sautee Nacoochee and the Sunrise Summit cabin. The cabin was nicely private surrounded by quiet woods, and very cozy and comfortable. The mountain view was quite small with all of the foliage, but I imagine it is stunning in the fall and winter.”

“Sunrise Summit was well worth it. Very spacious and fun things to do inside and outside of cabin. Close to Helen, Anna Ruby Falls and Tallulah Gorge. Those were some of the places we went too. I will be back especially in other parts of the year like fall and winter to see how the town of Helen and surrounding areas look in the different seasons. Last house on the top of mountain on a dead end. Very quiet. Saw lots of deer around the property. It was great!”

“The cabin was exactly as it was pictured on the listing. It was a wonderful surprise to arrive to such a beautifully decorated cabin for Christmas! I wasn’t expecting that touch. I also loved how secluded the cabin was at the end of road and all the deer that were constantly showing up! The Town of Helen was just minutes up the road and we loved relaxing in the hot tub, playing card games, watching movies, eating and just hanging out with friends. The bed downstairs was by far the most comfortable we’ve had in a rental cabin! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!”

Clean, nicely decorated, well stocked - it’s a great place for your family to spend some quality time together.”

“This location is beyond ideal. It's at the end of a cul-de-sac with no other homes. At night you can see the stars so clearly from the cul-de-sac. The showers are clean and pristine. Even without screens, there is not a single bug that touches you on the patio and I loved that the hot tub was on the main level so you could watch the sunset and feel one with nature. The surroundings are teaming with wildlife--we saw doe, bucks, fawns, and baby foxes. This location was very comfortable and a wonderful place to celebrate a birthday.”

“We have stayed at a number of cabins over the years and typically find they don't live up to the hype. However, Sunrise Summit (via Blue Creek Cabins) exceeded our expectations in every way possible. The cabin was clean, well stocked, comfortable and completely private. You had to really look to find any other structure from any view in the cabin. The couch, chairs and bed were all very comfortable. The shower was amazingly strong (a must) and the outdoor fireplace and hot tube became a nightly (and sometimes morning) ritual during out stay after a day of exploring Helen, Clarksville and Dahlonega. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay and are already talking to family and friends about returning in the fall or even winter.”

“Such a cute place! We had perfect weather. It was a bit cooler in the evening, so we could use the hot tub and not be bothered by bugs at all. Cabin was exactly as described. We loved the secluded location, very private despite other cabins down the road. We only used the downstairs bedroom, but there is plenty of room for another couple, or your kids in the upstairs master. The only suggestion that I have is to replace the downstairs bedroom quilt, it had a few stains. Overall, we had a great couple of nights! We hiked to some waterfalls and visited a few wineries. Beautiful area.”

“What a great cabin, nestled in the woods! Amazing sunrise views! The sun rays shot straight through the kitchen for a brief time. We loved playing pool, using the hot tub and grilled out steaks. Great stay!!! I can't wait to go again!!!”

“Alexander from Blue Creek was so helpful and kind. He even replied in the evening to our issues quickly. I would absolutely rent from Blue Creek again based on the excellent communication. The beds were comfortable (we slept on the main level). The towels and water pressure were good. Nice decor. Night lights were a nice touch. There is a paved road all the way to the cabin which is very nice and unusual for this area. Ample off-street parking at the cabin as well. They provide one day for laundry soap and shampoo, etc and they do not allow previous guests to leave any toiletries or food so don't hope for extra laundry soap or shampoo or butter. It will not be there. So prepare and bring your own. The hot tub has nice lighting and is right off the main floor bedroom (but don't be sad if you are in the upstairs bedroom because you get a bathroom jacuzzi tub with jets overlooking the forest). The cons of the hot tub are that you can't adjust the jets at all so the pressure and placement is what it is. It also was not easy to get the cover off and on because the tub is almost against the railing. The patio fireplace was broken when we were there and despite the extensive efforts of Alexander they were sadly unable to fix it during our stay which was a bummer as that was honestly the selling point of the house for me and the whole reason I booked it. We did not use the indoor wood fireplace but you can easily purchase wood for it and even have it delivered if you like.”

“This is a gorgeous little cabin in a cul de sac at the back of a community near Helen. It's just a 15 minute drive to Helen . The cabin is comfortable, well layed out, and has plenty of room for kids to play. There is a steep hill that was a fun climb for me and the boys next to the home as well. Great place to stay!”

“Secluded property that sits at the end of the road. Zero traffic! Complete peace and quiet. A few house staples were missing, but a quick call to the office (Alex) and it was taken care of that day. Our dryer also went out during the stay, I called after hours and my call was promptly returned. I was Impressed that the call back happened so quickly…being it was 10pm. The dryer was fixed the next day. Great customer service. Keep it up!! Wonderful house. The photos don’t do it justice. Our family had a wonderful time.”

“We had a pleasant stay in this cabin. It looks even better in person and had that fresh cabin-wood smell. It was tidy and well equipped. Very quiet and lots of singing birds made a peaceful setting. When it rained, it was nice to enjoy the hot tub, pool table, movies, and play our board games on the large dinning room table. The view is simply a small clearing through the trees, but perhaps in different seasons the view opens up a little more. See-through curtains in the bedrooms made it a little hard to sleep in, but beds were comfortable.”

“This cabin is in a very pretty wooded area and the back deck looks out into nothing but trees. The cabin had everything needed for the stay. The hot tub was broken when we arrived but the property manager got it fixed for us. The cabin could be cleaned a little better - there was some hair on the carpets (which can be hard to get up with a vacuum and probably wouldn’t be noticed by most but I was on the floor with my 9 month old a lot) and the door tracks had some dirt/bugs but clean for the most part. I think the bedding could be updated to be more comfortable but overall we enjoyed our stay.”

Only suggestion is to replace burnt out lightbulbs; we could not figure out how to turn on the back deck overhead lights. Would recommend to stay at Sunrise Summit.”

“This is our third year staying at sunrise summit we love the cabin. We love the cabin and the tranquility of the mountains. ,a few suggestions to make the stay more pleasant,get a new picnic table on the porch the table is warped and uncomfortable ,more comfortable cushions are needed on the chairs on the back porch very uncomfortable.It is time to get a new barbcue grill the one you have now does not allow you to cook without major flare ups I bar b cue often at home so you might want to invest in a grill that makes it a pleasure to grill on ,I suggest a Weber they cook great and last forever. Just a few suggestions,like I said we love the cabin and will be back again. COMPANY REVIEW:Great to work with very accommodating to our needs, Great place to relax and enjoy the environment”

“Love the cabin. Had a great time. But didnt like the rats that came with it. They put sensors in both bedrooms for the rats but that didn’t work . I did call the front office to let them know that there were rats in the unit and they got right on it so I was happy about that but it did not work . In order for us not to hear the rats we had to sleep with some of the lights on in the cabin . You only heard them at night when the lights are off. And they werent small rats . “Sunrise Summit cabin is lovely, close to Helen, with wonderful views and the most comfortable outdoor patio area. The owners have furnished it well and the outside hot tub and upstairs pool table was delightful during the cold days. They even have it decorated for Christmas, such a nice touch. Our five days flew by as we discovered new restaurants and fishing spots, was not busy at all the week before Christmas. The cabin sits secluded on top of the hill and has such a wonderful lookout over the Blue Ridge mountains. The hot tub had been cleaned and sanitized for our use, even has an outdoor fireplace so one can appreciate the early morning outdoors without getting cold. Loved the indoor wood burning fireplace we used each night. Cupboards were well stocked with necessary kitchenware and the bedrooms are spacious and very clean. Great place for a wonderful relaxing time. Thank you to the owners for making it very homely for our use. We will most definitely return to this cabin.”

“Cabin located in a quiet secluded location. well furnished and clean except we found some pets hair on sofas, must be from previous guest pets. Short drive to Helen for good restaurants and attractions. We had a great time. Downstairs bed mattress is worn out it sinks I guess time for a new one, I saw some other guest had the same experience. other than we will love to go back again. for people who want to see the view from the top, this is not a good place because you won't see anything except in winter when trees don't have a leaf.”
